It has been ten years since I last checked in with a post about the wonderful anniversary Blythe dolls that have been released. It is time for an update.
The 2025 anniversary Blythe doll, Momoiro No Hime, is already causing a buzz in the doll-collecting community despite the fact that no official photos of the doll have been released. Pre-orders sold out almost instantly based on the illustration.
This year’s anniversary doll is a collaboration with beloved doll fashion designer Chimachoco, known for her intricate and traditional Japanese styles. Chimachoco is the author of Wa no Doll Coordinate Recipe and Yukata no Doll Coordinate, two highly regarded sewing pattern books focused on doll yukata. Her expertise in creating beautifully detailed, handmade yukata pieces adds a layer of beauty to this much-anticipated release. Collectors everywhere are eagerly awaiting the first look at Momoiro No Hime.
